Introduction:
Today we are here to meet Rakesh Sir, that too in Hyderabad and the reason behind traveling such a long distance is that Rakesh Sir has began a very unique start-up and this idea can help you to start this type of business in your own city. Rakesh Sir here will inform you the entire procedure right from the machinery to setup of the business. So, let’s learn from sir what is his company all about and the entire procedure to setup your own business.
Manufacturers Guide:
Sir, please tell our viewers about your company.
Owner:
I began this business in 2017, my name is Rakesh Mungulkar and my company is known as Parikshit Food Products. In the past, I usually used to search on YouTube about different types of businesses that generate high income and there I found a unique idea that anyone in India had not tried before. It is being used since the last 20 years but the common population does not have any awareness about this product, however; it is being used in China since 2004. So, I realized it was exactly the kind of business I was looking for and so without any delays, I setup the business right away within 15 to 20 days.
Manufacturers Guide:
When you first started this business, what was the initial investment amount?
Owner:
This is literally a zero-investment startup for me, this is because I took the “Mudra Loan” from the bank. I had applied for this loan as soon as it was started by our hon. Prime Minister. I collected all the quotations and submitted them to the bank, so I got all this equipment for 2,30,000 rupees.
Manufacturers Guide:
So now how is the loan working out for you? Is it in profit or loss?
Owner:
It’s going really easy for me. The monthly EMI can be paid in literally 1 to 2 days of income.
Manufacturers Guide:
Please tell our viewers what all equipment are required to start this business
Owner:
We are going to need a grinder, sterilizer, steamer and manual press.
Manufacturers Guide:
Alright, now tell out viewers what raw materials are required?
Owner:
There are only 2 main raw materials, there’s Nigari and then there’s Soya Beans. (03:04 to 03:10)
Manufacturers Guide:
In the further video, sir will give us a complete demo of the entire procedure of manufacturing, selling and marketing in detail.
Owner:
First we have to soak the soya beans in water for six hours. Then we have to wash it twice or thrice thoroughly. After washing, remove all the water and take it to the grinder. These beans here are ready, so now we’re putting it inside the grinder, in this grinder the powder will come out from on side and milk from the other side (The live demonstration is done from 04:32 to 05:13). We must now mix water in the powder and regrind it so that we extract all the soya milk available. (The live demonstration is done from 05:39 to 06:12)
Now the milk will be transferred to the sterilizer via the pipe and motor, and there’s a steamer attached to the sterilizer. The steamer is used to indirectly heat the milk. We then remove the milk after it is completely heated and then wait for it to cool down. Then we spoil mix the milk with a solution of powdered soya and water. This milk has now been spoilt properly and is now ready to turn into soya paneer (cottage cheese). Now the water will be removed from the milk and it will be sent to the pneumatic press. Now this paneer is ready, now we will place it in the pneumatic press.
Manufacturers Guide:
What will the pneumatic press do?
Owner:
It’ll make a nice cute form of paneer and all the water will be removed. Now, this soya paneer is ready to be sold. Now you can cut it according to your requirements and design. We keep the soya paneer in cold water and after some time, it will be ready to be sold
Manufacturers Guide:
What does cold water do?
Owner:
The water makes it a little bit hard.
Manufacturers Guide:
Now that we’ve made soya paneer and soya milk, where exactly is it used.
Owner:
It is demand mostly in bar and restaurants, hotels, caterings and events. If you keep these 4 target area then you’ll be able to sell them loose without any requirement for packing.
Manufacturers Guide:
Where does the soya milk go?
Owner:
It can used to make ice-creams or you can sterilize into bottles and sell directly or else setup a tetra pack machine and sell it in the name of your own brand.
Manufacturers Guide:
What is the difference between this paneer and the regular paneer?
Owner:
Just like the difference between mango pickle and lemon pickle, these paneers are different too. Bothof them have demand in the market.
Manufacturers Guide:
What is the profit margin of this?
Owner:
1 kg of soya bean after osmosis becomes 1.5 kg, so after considering all the cost of LPG, electricityroom rent, payment of assistants, it takes 43 rupees altogether to make 1 kg of paneer. You can sell for 120 to 160 rupees in the market as opposed to normal paneer that sells from 280 to 450 rupees.
Manufacturers Guide:
How much does the soya milk sell for?
Owner:
It goes for 150/liter.
